Title: 1.8t oil help

hi guys

i went to the dealers yestersay for oil and filter andthe oil tey gave me was syntha silver fully synthetic, but my questionis if the engine has ever had semi synthetic and i change it and put fully synt in will it cause any damage because ive heard of the two different oils reacting.

any help appreciated

I just put fully synth synta in mine and from the history its always had full synth  :cool:

Not sure about using one if in past been run on another [ie.synth then semi]
No idea what mine had been run on previously but is now on Synta gold, fully synth. No issues :wink:
