Got to allow a certain percentage of light through on the front i think, can't remember what though or if that is even still the legislation :undecided:

My friend got done for having his too dark on the front, apparently it's like 5-10% that's allowed through. Rear don't matter though, I want mine done, the rears, I don't want the fronts done as there's no point.

To be honest the police prefer no tints at all on the front windows.

think the front windows have to transmit 90% but rear windows and rear windscreen you can go all out on.. pricey and not worth it though

NOPE UR ALL RNG HAHA  :cool: i rang my insurance (admiral pretty cheap) but the lady i spoke 2 after i told em the mods i did to my car (cz i dnt want crap if suma hapens) so neway i asked her about the tint she went away asked her superviosor n she said the front need to let 70% light thru, so only 30% tinted and rears dont matter HAHA  :grin: & it wer only £30 extra not bad eh?  :nerd:

window tints look gash anyway so should cost nothing..

i had a 10% tint on the front windows of my old bug. got pulled by the cops and had to remove it! then had to take the car to the dvls to sign paperwork to prove the tint had been removed and that the car was legal again. Was olny given 7 days or was gonna get 3 points!! Id never bother again!!

I want my rear windows and rear screen to be tinted eventually, it'll go with the smoked theme I've got :)

I think it suits three doors, but there was sime Nissan note in my garage where I work and it had factory rear tints. Looked sh!te. Although I would appreciate them in the back of a Note.  :laugh:
