Title: Brake's for the anniversary?
Post by: Stevo-Anni on 19 February 2009, 03:06
Is this right because everywhere i look it says 312mm x 24 front and 256 x 18 rear discs??

Audi TT-Quattro (225hp) | VW Golf Anni | Skodá Octavia VRS | VW Golf V5 170 | VW Golf V6 4 Motion

The Front brakes are 312mm x 25mm Vented Discs, 54mm ATE single piston calipers

The Rear brakes are 256mm x 22mm Vented Discs, 38mm Lucas single Piston calipers

Where is cheapest place to find carriers, if can't get from a breaking vrs, tt, or anni?

Pads are quite reasonable (same pads for 288 or 312 mm set-up)

Carriers are better sourced S/H, TBH.  Expect to pay about £80. :afro:

No, not really - I just wouldn't recommend better pads on the rear eg. yellowstuff, with standard front pads, for example.

If you want to spend a few extra quid & get the top ones (yellow), then search on the Audi S3 1.8T. ;)

You'll notice that the part of the EBC part No. stays the same, it's just the first digit & last letter that changes with the different colours (grades).  eg. DP31330C for red, & DP41330R for yellow. :afro:
