Title: lowering my mk4 gti turbo

hi there iam looking into getin my self a set of the hottunning coilovers .  it says the lowering limit is 120 mm but i have heard people sayin things about the arb??? and 45mm is lowest unless u do something to the arb..... can people please let me know wot needs to be done etc as im looking to go 17`s with as low as i can go  lol thanx alex

you have to replace with aftermarket arb that has bigger loops as the drive shaft will rub on the standard arb

Going lower than 40mm on a mk4 can result in the front Anti roll bar rubbing the driveshaft. This can be overcome by getting an upgraded ARB.

i'd look on fleebay myself  :laugh: ive heard its a pain in the backside to change tho

I'd recommend getting a front and rear kit if your going to get a thicker bar than std.

im lowered on 50mm

and my golf hasnt had any problems mate!!

ill keep me eye open on ebay , i wont be changing it if it does need it , straight in garage lol
