Title: Need you opinion

When I bought my Golf GTi it came fitted with a Jetta front end. I'm not sure whether to keep it or change it to a golf twice or quid light front end. I'm going for a euro ish look, so I’m not sure what to do. I'm going for a clear front with the lights and I’ve found some on eBay from Hong Kong. So what do you guys think i should do?

Dont buy anything from hong kong. :grin:   Its up to you really, if you like it... keep it, if not.......   Im not a fan personally. Ben

that's the thing i don't know if i like it or not. I've seen some really nice golfs with the single lights & badgeless grill

I think vw got it right on the gti
Red pin stripe and four lights.
Black or silver badge

I'll swap you your jetta front end for my quad light setup, just pay the postage for yours and i will for mine? I want a jetta front end!

what are the inner lights for? i know they are spotlights, but do you come on with the fogs or something?

My inners come on as my full beam/flash and i have separate fogs below in the bumper...

Yup. Pretty much. I dare say some constructive wiring could make them whatever you want, lol!

true lol i've got a uprated lights loom that has the plugs for the spotlights

Would i need to get new wings? i've been looking at some paperwork that i got with the car and there is a invoice for 2 jetta front wings.

Looking at them i doubt it. They were probably replaced due to rust or something on the previous golf ones...

Standard is a good look IMO ,But i am thinking of putting a single lamp 1300 Golf grille on it with black VW badge  And smoked lights ,

If I ever get it on the road  :sad:

 Its your motor dude just keep the Jetta set up incase you feel like a change in six months  :wink:
