right got this fault code  16622/P0238/000568 - Manifold Pressure/Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too High


Possible Symptoms

Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) active

Possible Causes

Wiring/Connector(s) from/to Manifold Pressure/Boost Sensor (G31) faulty
Manifold Pressure/Boost Sensor (G31) faulty

Possible Solutions
Check Wiring/Connector(s) from/to Manifold Pressure/Boost Sensor (G31)

anyone know how much the sensors are  and where i can get one from or where i can get a wiring diagram as we had to wire this sensor into the ecu loom ourselves anyone had this sensor fail and know symptoms? mine is running quite rich by the smells and is very low on power

mmmm thought it was the one on the inlet manifold, need rhys to connect vag com up again unplug the intercooler plug an see if the code says open circuit cheers rich :afro:

thats what i was wondering if it is the intercooler map sensor then it shouldnt effect the running so pointing at the TIP

thats what i was wondering if it is the intercooler map sensor then it shouldnt effect the running so pointing at the TIP

no worries mate - i'll pack my VAGCOM cable and laptop and see what we can find tomorrow  :smiley:
