:sad: does anyone know how you fill the holes where the injectors go if i want to use a Gti head on my latest 1600,wasa told that TSR used to do something?? Any idea's anyone?? Cheers gang :smiley:

Araldite some penny coins in there, but don't tell the treasury. You will get into trouble for defacing the head of the Queen! :laugh:

depends what head. If its a K-Jet head then you can use pennies but you cant on a digi head.

depends on how old thw digi head is. per 90 penny trick work it seems

leave the injectors in is one way, and gearbox drain/fill plugs fit, though again this depends on the injector hole size as above :)

weld the holes up a permanent solution !!!!!!!!!!!

welding the holes is suboptimal. tapping and screw in a threaded bung with threadlock if you must.

take seats out add pennys replace seats as darnPB said

On the early k jet head, gearbox drain plugs will do the job.

I didn't use any sealant on the pennies and mine was fine - the collets tighten down and seal against the pennies just fine.
