Title: confusion with recirc/blow off valve
Post by: Sean_GT on 17 February 2009, 09:28
ive been reading through these threads in regards to dump valves, i bought my car with one fitted, my car is 2000 agu engine. i read that u cant have a dump valve and u need 2 use the recirc one yet my car runs fine with a dump valve and it works great i get the tssssss after 3000 revs and so on. but wud i be better in investing in a forge 007 recirc? my cars been remapped by other owner not sure on bhp but im after doing few things to it to make it faster im lookin on spending around £1000 or less if possible, i think my cars got around 190bhp or so. id post pics but being a newbie i cnt lol

With an AGU it won't be throwing up any dash warning lights, but I guarantee it'll run a lot better with a proper recirc valve on it.

As Topher said will run alot better. If you want the tssssh sound a 007p with carbonio or similar induction kit will give you that sound.

+1

Much better results with a recirc valve.
