Title: help with a ford

right i got a problem with a friends focus tdci 04 plate its got no power and the fault code came up a boost problem. had a look and cant find any leaks so looked at the turbo and the actuator isn't moving when you rev it but moves if you push it so its not seized  :huh: so wondered if anyone knew of anything?

losss of all power, and no boost    is also  limp home function.    you piss the littel black box off it just holds the wastegate wide open  :sad:

intercooler full of road debri,  iffy maf all worth checking.


take look at airflow  rate if the indicated rate is ether way high or all over shop   its a maf fail

Also worth checking the throttle pedal switch.
