as above on my 150tdi anything in particular to change
i was thinking of doing the glow plugs, oil, fuel filter and air filter the cambelt has been done. maybe change the brake fluid aswell?
-
which glow pugs do you use? do uprated ones makes any difference to overall performance like better spark plugs??
-
I done my 80k service before christmas and done oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter and brake fluid
-

cheers steve ill do all them then....... i usually change all of the obove every 10k except for fluids and pollen (every 20k) even though i think vw say every 40k for fuel filter orwhatever but for the sake of a tenner its cool?
-
no point doing the glow plugs - i believe they are only used during the ignition cycle and then redundant when the engine is warmed up
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glowplug
it won't give you a performance benefit like changing spark plugs on a petrol engine

I always change everything apart from the brake fluid and pollen filter

off the top of my head, 80K should include all the filters, oil, pollen, fuel, air, be worth checking your brake fluid (every 4 years) all the joints should be greased etc.
the only time you should change your glow plugs is when they fail, as i've said before buy yourself a copy of the Haynes manual as that details everything that needs to be done on each service
