Title: Need some help With Brake conversion

Hey guys whats up im new to the vw scene im a mechanic though so i know what im doing i just need to know whats the best thing to do

Ok i have a 92 gti and i need a new wheel (front) bearing and since i have to take a whole lotta stuff of, Hey why not doa brake conversion I would like to know whats the best conversion to do.  I heard theres dual pistons cailpers?  just give me the best conversion and the size of the rotors.

Also listen to this my wheel almost fell off  3 lug bolt just ripped outta the rear drums which also i have to ask whats the best rear disc converion
please help me out guys thanks and do some explaining to

If you change the front hubs to 16v ones you can then fit 280mm discs and callipers from a G60 or mk3. You should have discs on the rear, if not they are a straight forward conversion covered in the mk1 forum.

I think you can get a Wilwood 4 pot caliper setup that runs with 280mm x 22mm discs for about ?180 if you want even more brakes.

Make sure you change the master cylinder at the same time.
