i have a early 2001 golf gti 1.8t 150bhp , i see alot of people talking about aug and auv and im a bit lost lol . wot engine type would mine b ???

open your bonnet and look at the cylinder head nearest the timing belt cover and on the casting next to the cam cover there will be 3 letters stamped into the head that identifies your engine code

yeah you will mate as long as you can take some joking, (i was constantly taken the mick out of as i had a 2.0)  :grin: also you will learn to quickly find ways to spend your money from advise/liks on here :grin:
