Title: amp fitment

im looking at fitting my sound system this week, was wondering if i installed my amp, and attached the amp to the parcelshelf underneath would this effect the workings of the amp.

i read somewhere installing them upside down effects amps in some way is this true.

if you have the space then a better idea would be to mount brackets to your shelf and 'hang' the amp underneath the shelf the correct way up.

make sure you hang it at least a few cms from the shelf though yeah?

Post by: eightyeightmph on 16 February 2009, 19:16: Been covered recently, but behind the glove box in the passenger footwell is a rubber bung where the main loom goes through.

Have a look from the engine bay side (trace the wiring from the battery) and you'll see it. :afro:
