Title: Rear seats
Post by: Krispy on 15 February 2009, 20:30: I am thinking of taking my rear seats out.. Has anyone done this or have any pictures by any chance, since i dnt want it to look stupid without rear seats and need some ideas.

no worries mate lol

you'd be surpsied how much the seats do actually weigh! the rear bench is fairly light but the backrests are fairly bulky

just fold them flat to lower your centre of gravity :laugh: :laugh:

weight makes a big difference tho, dnt u notice a difference when driving alone than with having a mate with you?

easily maybe a touch more - thats the backrests

rear bench is approx 7-10Kg

Aids performance & handling. Mine will be a stripped out track sl*t, one day! 8)

Have you seen what they've done to the back of a Mini Cooper S GP, i wanted something like that..
