Title: Alternater belt squealing loudly

A month ago had a new Alternator belt fitted with tensioner arm also being replaced. But the belt often squeal's quite loudly and it annoying? Also the Alternater belt only runs half on the tensioner is that right? Cheers  :smiley:

good news about your tip :afro: hope youve read bobbarleys post  :grin: you say your belt only runs on half of the tensioner? the belt should fit/run over all of the tensioner vw fitted a new one onto my car when it was serviced and it runs over all the width of the tensioner hth
