Title: Alloy wheel fitment issue.
Post by: VRDan on 13 February 2009, 20:17
Hey people

I am looking to invest in some alloy wheels that are 15x7'' does anyone know if 205 50 15 tyres are a good fit or might problems occur? I may invest in some stretched rubber in the near future but would like to fit these for now if possible.
Also what ET should i look to get them in there are two choices ET20 and ET38, as i understand it the smaller the ''ET'' the further out in the arch the wheel sits. I have standard arches not rolled or anything, is ET20 a good fit or is that pushing it. Maby spacers is a better option?

Help appreciated as im eager to get rid of the standard wheels and some rims on sharpish.

Et38 would be better than et20 which would need the arches rolling.

Refernece tyres, 205/50/15's would be fine or you could switch to 195/50/15 which are cheaper.
