Hi,
Is it real to put 195/60/15 allow wheels on Golf 2 1.8 Syncro 1986?
Thanks!
-
195/50/15 is the norm but 195/60/15 will be ok
its the offset and center bore that are more inportant
-
These will give a slightly larger rolling diameter which will mean speedo will read slightly slow and performance will not be quite as snappy.
But probably not that much that you would notice.
-
i got 205/50/15 on mine and acording to my tom tom tw*tnav my real speed is the same as the speedo

What about 185/65/15 for 6.5''x15'' rim on Golf 2?
So, actualy, can i set 195/60/15 without problems? Does anybody have a picture of 195/60/15 on Golf2?
Thanks!

it's not 6.5" it is 65% of 185mm

why want to run strange tyer sizes anyway ?
-
work out the difference yasen

So...on a 195/50/15, the 50 means "50% of 195", 195 being the tread width?? I'm a tyre noob :( also what's offset and centre bore??
-
centre bore is the diametre of the flange on the hub, the actuall part the wheels fit snug agaisnt. 57.1mm
Offset is figured out by measuring where the mounting point of the alloy sits in relation to the inner edge of the wheel?
so if the offset is Zero where it mounts will be where the inner edge of the alloy is? making the rest of the wheel stick outwards?
...*waits to be corrected*

the 6.5J the rim width which is 6.5" so the op is correct. what you stated is the tyre size.
