Title: GSF handbrake cables
Post by: jammac on 11 February 2009, 18:05
Has anyone bought a handbrake cable from GSF? i bought one for my golf gti 8v 91 tookthe old one off and the new one is miles longer.

now im thinking the old one could have been wrong as i was only getting two clicks on the handbrake...3 clicks if i used both hands.

so do i just get another cable so i have 2 longer ones  this will give me alot more clicks on the handbrake though which isnt a problem for MOT? or is it? as ive just failed it on nearside handbrake (+ emssions CO)

GSF have two types one for 83-88 and one for 88-92

cheers in advance
