Title: which relay?

which relay is the one for the rear wiper? I think mine is dodgy, because it has no set time gap (or clicks from relay), very irratic and the wiper stops anyware it feels like.

can these be cleaned or how much are they?

Its the one in position 11!  Take it out and give the contacts a good clean, if it don't help any one with the same number/part number/number of pins from another VW should work.  I nicked mine out of a MK3!

To the right of the front wiper relay, number 19.  Cant remember what number the rear wiper relay is!

Cheers mate, I found the one, it was the top left one, give the contacts a quick clean and it seems ok know. problem is that the last person who owned the car tried to lat the rear wiper flat and it looks like they missed a notch ans it's abit sticking up from flat.  will do that another day I think ;)
