Title: mk1 cab suspention

hello veedub lovers
just 1 quick question ive been told that mk1 & mk1 cab are different set ups im not 1oo% sure so if any of u guys know if u cud let us that wud b gr8

A few of the differences on post '88 cabs that I know, include the exhaust system, Steering splines, and Instrument pod . So its not inconcievable there are others

As far as i know the suspensions on mk1's and cabs are the same.

there must be a slight difference cos when u look at suspension.  be it coilovers or springs they do a different price for the mark 1 and the cab.

The parts may not be identical, as the cars are different in weight.
But the suspension setup for the mk1/cab/scirocco are the same.

i would assume the springs were stiffer (or at least the progression rate). on the cab to compensate for weigt

I'm fairly certain that post and pre '88 cabs use different springs.
