i love it. few questions, just wondering my front bumper, is it vinyl wrapped or something as it seems to have bubbled slightly, if so any method of fixing maybe hair dryer and smooth it down or something ?

Also i have been told its normal but when the car is at idle sometimes it dips and pics up revs on its own never stalls or anything and nothing stupid just slightly i think its normal but anyways  thanks for any help

Welcome :afro: Nice colour

Got any pics of the bumper problem? Lacquer peeling?

As for the revs A throttle body clean may help?

sounds like it has been over sprayed with laquer.

awsome, and hello  so anybody advise me not to try heating it up with hair dryer and rub it down ? im thinking it may cause the glues or paints to re-adhere ? only try a little bit sheilding the rest with some card or something....

hi mate and welcome like the colour of your golf :afro: looking at your bumper it looks like a laquer/clearcoat run can be rubbed down maybe with a 5 micron (we use at work) sanding disc and wont damage the clearcoat to much as long as you take it steady it could rub out

cheers mate, thanks for the advice.. i know how to fill it etc i was just wondering about the fill level on the dip stick but all is sorted now, so far i have done oil filter change, then oil change and air filter and getting new plugs soon just waiting on selling my other car (corsa), but the car is running brilliant tbh and the fluctuating revs has now stopped after i cleaned the throttle body and breather pipes etc.

Thanks for the help everyone
