Title: Heater pipe help required.
Post by: dan7 on 10 February 2009, 19:00
I fitted a 1.6 8v carb engine into my mk1 Clipper, from a mk2 Driver a while back. After getting through most of the issues, I have one I can't sort. The metal coolant pipe that comes out of the water pump and goes right up to the heater matrix, is too big a diameter to go into the rubber hose with the valve for the heater on it. What can I do to remedy this?????

need to replace the 1.6 pipe with one off a MK1 1.5 lump (or any MK1 based carb lump, scirocco ones etc), you also need the side flange with the extra pipe connection and the short pipe to go with it.
