anybody knows? Thanks!
-
Don't think so, also I believe a GTI spec one is wider.
-
it will bolt up but some may be wider than MK2s as said, but shouldnt cause you any issues unless you have mega low offset wheels. There is a thread on MK3 beam widths on clubgti :)
-
Brake line and compensator positioning is different.
Beam is wider.
Provided you're prepared to review your brake lines you will get the benefit of wider track - more stable car.
-
good point about that, i beleve some didnt have a compensator at all, certain types of ABS? could be wrong on that one though just a vague recollection.
-
Well I've seen ABS and non-ABS models and they've all had compensator.
Maybe you're thinking of some random ETKA illustration for a third world market or something.
-
nah just something I vaguely recall reading, probably got the wrong end of the stick on that then I guess. either way look at what the new beam has vs what you have on your car and it should become obvious what needs doing
