Title: Okay Dokie! Question to be answered!?
Post by: saalro on 09 February 2009, 12:41
I've unplugged my MAF to see if my car runs better and puts a stop to this running sh!t issue i'm having, i'm curious, what damage can it cause leaving my MAF unplugged if it's running better! The MPG seems fine, it seems to be running fine!? Do i need a MAF!

Thanks

Filled my car up with Shell V Power today! First time i've ever used it haha. Then found £5 on the shop floor, what a day!

Leaving it unplugged can lead to heavy overfuelling, oil seeping past the rings into the sump, which will then degrade all of your rubber seals over time, immensly high concentrations of carbon buildup in the cylinder leading to the cylinder lining cracking and it will basically knacker the engine over time.
