i'm not sure, but on that website, HID are £115+
best go for function rather than looks on lights i feel, or go for both
-
They certainly aren't HIDs just projector style headlights. Not had any probs with mine

Cheers chaps-
Are they a straight plug n play fit?
Andy
-
i purchased them off ebay last year, after fitting and driving around you just dont get the same light output effect as standard lights give..
maybe its just me but the lights just seemed more dull and fixed without any spread like on the sides or anything compared to normal headlamps/ so i sold them on.
Iv heard the HELLA XENON LOOK headlamps are ment to be the best aftermarket upgrade from standard halogen.. They look exactly the same as the xenons and guessing the light output will be near enough the same but with manual adjust you wont get it perfect.
Oh and yes they are a plug and play fit, well mine was anyway, no mods needed.
-
I have them too, no pics though I'm afraid.

Have you looked at the Hella Dyna Beams?
http://dynabeam.hella-online.com/EN/index.html
If I didn't have Xenons I would have been tempted by these.
-
yeah i also looked into the dynabeam, as ive got halogen.. i would need the halogen dynabeam look.. had a nice chat with the guy at parts4euro early last year about these and he said they were fantastic.
i think they beat any faerie light drl style type, as the celius ring is also the side lights
BUT.. at £600 delivered is :shocked:ing lol

Thanks mate, just the sort of info I was looking for.
Guess the only feasible route is Hellas or a full xenon conversion? Both options are pretty pricey.
Seems I may have to keep with the standard GTi lamps for now!
