Does anyone know how easy it is to change the hood on a mk3 cabriolet? Im trying to decide wether to buy the hood and fit myself or pay the extra (Couple of hundred) to have to fitted at a garage?
Ive found very little info on changing the hoods, even the haynes manual has nothing in as it only caters for the engine and electrics for the cabrio's.
Ive been quoted about ?200 for the hood (Im assuming this doesn't include the metal framework) or ?725+vat for the hood fitted!!!
Any info or advice much appriciated!
