Title: mk4 golf rear door speaker mount size..

ello..

what size are the rear door speaker mounts in a mk 4? ( i dont own the car yet..)

I have 4 alpine SPX 17 components to go in.  Dont really want the back ones in the rear door on the floor, anyone got any bright ideas or know of a custom kit to place em elsewhere?

6.5" same as the front if you want to use the 5.25's then get the mk4 adapters and make a 6mm reducer ring to fit onto that

I have two sets of adaptors if you are interested, I removed my 16.5cm speakers from the front and rear of my old MK4, includes the wiring adaptors so no need to cut any of the original car.
