Title: slight bubling rust around boot lock area
Post by: bmouthboyo on 06 February 2009, 22:10
Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone could point me in right direction of how to sort out some slight bubbling under the pain near the boot lock. I will try and get pics up shortly.

Can i DIY this easily? if not how much am i looking at and where can i get it done for good price? Its not a lot just a few patches.

thanks

hey, it invloves scraping the rust out untill you get to clean metal then use rust killer... then sanding down... bodyfiller... sanding...primer...sanding... top coat.. (more than one coat of paint though)

thats just quick... depends if you want to do it yourself i did some on my old corsa dosent come out brilliant but on small areas it wouldnt be too bad, just practice..i wouldnt recommend it on a new-ish car..
