hi folks
i bought 18 cruise wheels of dp motorsport in ayr 225/40/18 tryes fitted all for £630, bought th in nov and now im back in the country im going to fit them, i placed them against my car today just to get the look , and they look like they will be too big, not sure if it's just an illusion or not but i was assured these will fit a mk 5 golft gt sport, the tyres i have at the moment are the standard gt wheels with 205/55/16.. the standard 16" wheels.
what are your thoughts on this ? will they fit, will my speedo be out?? so many Qs , just worried i've made a boob.
thanks in advance
steph

if the rim's pdc is 112 with an acceptable offset then the rims with 225/40/18 tyres will fit and have the correct rolling circumference.
-
will fit fine, no problems.. unless they are the wrong offset or pcd like bacillus said.

Looking at the ebay advert they are offset 42 which is a little low, but should be okay. The PCD is 112mm and is fine. The alloys are 8" wide, which is also okay.
Get 'em on and let's have some pics!!
