Title: rusty wheel arches on my MK1 can i fix?

Can any one help. My MK1 has just failed due to welding needed on the back wheel arches. Is this a bit of a job and what kind of garage would I need to get it done in? Also how much is it gonna set me back. Cheers

You can buy wheel arch repair panels that are then welded on. I had to that on an old T reg Golf that I had.

GSF do them, Left hand rear is ?6.78 and right hand rear is ?8.17........God knows why they are priced differently  ???

No idea how much the welding will cost you..........I did my own.
