Title: Swapping seats on mk2

If i find a 90 spec 5dr mk2 (same as mine) with a donatable passenger seat, and swap it's backrest with my current drivers seat backrest, can i swap the recliner knob to the other correct side aswell?

I had a very brief look but couldnt work out how to remove the knob other than giving it a good yank.

Much easier to swap over the foam and cover to your current drivers frame (unless it is broken of course).

I did this to mine with simple tools and no previous experience. Remove the seat from car, then seperate the backrest from the base.
