Title: Black the BBSs or not? I dunno, help!

Alright boys, well, I have decided some point this year I'm going to get my wheels refurbished as they are in dyer need of one, but at the same time, I don't know if I should have them silver or go for black with a polished lip? I just had a mess around in Photoshop and came up with this, now if the lip was properly polished, I reckon they'd look sweet. What do you all think?

I have to say I prefer those wheels silver....BUT, on your car the black works really well, matches the black light surrounds & smoked indicator cluster.

i thought mine looked good in a chopped piccy with the sportlines. In reality i hated it.

[once only mode on] you car looks V goood for a barge, :afro: just redo them silver [mode off]

Holy sh!t, did you just compliment a Mk3? :P Thanks Chuff, I reckon you're just saying that because I made you a sig ;) I'm really undecided on what to do, because I've seen black alloys on Dragon Green Mk3s and I think they look sweet but I'm not sure if the BBS look would look good or not...for God sake lol!

 :grin: trust  me,  if it was sh!te i would say  :laugh: and it really is down to you, but a photochop AINT allus a good basis to go on,

+ think of resale, you will shift a silver set a lot easier  :wink:

That's a good point about the resale, I'm probably gonna leave them, just get them looking new again :)

If I'm honest, I'm still undecided. They are in desperate need of a refurb so I'm going to get prices of how much it'll cost to do soon. Will probably get them done in April/May.

The vr6 im using at mo is dragon green with 16" anni wheels which are black and chrome lip.

black centres is abit common, go for a nice high power silver....

i actually have a set of those with a polished lip and black spokes! looks good but now ive seen your photshop in gunmetal i wish id done that!
