got the chance to get my hands on an ashley 4-1 mild steel exhaust manifold for my 1.3 mk2.
i was hoping for a supersprint 4-2-1 stainless item but its nearly double the price.
one of the reasons for this upgrade is underbonnet aethetics. would the mild steel 'fold stay nice and shiney once polished or would it be a waste of time trying to keep it bling due to the heat?

mild steel will just rust whatever you do to it, only option would be to paint it
i wouldnt have thought you could get aftermarket manifolds for a 1300!!

i think its actually designed for the polo gt but i've been told it bolts straight on to a 1300 golf

if its just mild steei id clean it up if its been used before and get it chrome plated.
It shouldn't cost that much! Or if you want to be different the are some companies that will powder coat it silver for you. just some ideas for ya ;D
