Hi i'm new to the forum.
just brought a 16v, what a car it is..
What do you think the outcome would be between the the two cars, coz the spec on both cars are competitive... thanx
-
I wouldn't waste your time racing one mate. You'll only end up upset.
-
you would probably beat it on the twisties 8)
-
dunno mark. pete test drove one and they are quite quick all round. mk2 gti handles well but the cupra is no slouch either.
-
An ibiza cupra would tear a 16v, even through twisties! im drivin an ibiza FR at the mo an that sh!ts on golfs
-
i just read that post that chav_turdo did on the seatcupra website and thats wot they say. i cant comment ive never driven/raced/looked at one ;)
-
any one know what engine code these ibizas are running??
Gaz 8)
-
it will definately be quicker, but i still reckon the mk2 will handle better ;D
-
The 1.8T is only 150 break ?? ???
I take it the main difference between the variations of this engine are the boost levels running eh ? ? ? (MAIN difference I'm sure there's others before someone get their silly hat on ;D)
-
the ibiza won't be any faster than the 16v in standard form, once its been chipped then forget racing one :D
-
yeah, they are.
the ibiza is based on a polo.
however a mk2 16v is seriously light, and fast :D
-
Indeed. They are all very tunable. The Octavia RS engine is the same as the TT and so is the Cupra.
Good fun in the right hands! 8)
that octavia is a heavyweight car,
love it :D :-*
