Not sure what to do.......at the weekend i was having some fun in my vr and afterwards noticed that the car sounded alot louder (was loud already due to 6 branch, decat, and no silencers) and also seemed to be drinking alot more fuel.
After some poking around this afternoon ive found a that 1 of the weilded joints has split leading to a rather large hole so what should i do...?
Should i go standard, which would mean i need a mani, downpipe and cat or get another 6 branch, heat rap it and sort everything else exhaust wise aswell. Thing is (or actually a couple of things) ive also found that 1 of the bolts that attaches the mani to the head has sheared (previous owner) and also decat pipe has been weilded to the mani so its becomming a right mess.
Any advice would be grateful aswell as maybe a recommendation of someone who could sort this in the birmingham area. /

what branch were you using? did it have a flexi pipe? also, were you running solid mounts?

Not sure on make, and nope and nope, thats why its not just as simple as take it off and weild it up...decat pipe is weilded to the mani, proper bodge job if you ask me.

weld it up then need to cvut a section out and weld a flexi joint in

If you can get down to Bristol I can probably help out.

Cheers DH, but its alittle far with work and all...think i'll just have to buy another mani and also buy the decat with flexi bit in from dubpower.
