Title: 16v head , manifolds , cams etc on 8v bottom end ?

hi there guys ,

just wondering if it is possible or not to fit  a 16v head and all the assosiated parts onto an 8v bottom end ? 

any help would be  appreciated cheers 

car is a 8v mk2 gti

straight swap = no
a way to lower compression for turbo = yes, but there are easier ways
