Title: Yet more problems! Cutting out low revs
Post by: Josho on 29 January 2009, 15:19
Stupid Golf is being a b!tch!

Apparently on the way home, it cut out, they managed to get it going again, then everytime the revs dropped, it cut out.

They had to keep it in 2nd or 3rd (Auto box) to keep it alive. Any ideas on this one?

Had a similar problem before and it turned out to be the coil.

Might try changing it with mine.

OK, my mum went out at around 6:15AM this morning and not a problem with the thing.

Sounds like a sensor to me. My brothers Hyundai does this, Crank Positioning Sensor is screwed. Only his is worse...

Anyhelp?

I need to buy a VAG-COM off eBay....
