Anyone listen to it here?? After some 6's for the doors, and 6x9's for the parcel shelf, wondering what sounds good, it's usually quite bassy (that's how I like it anyway) but obviously so the mids and treble cuts through enough too.
Cheers,
Rich

In my opinion JBL gto 693 mk11,were excellent for this application .
I had them fitted on a mdf board powered by a old pioneer gm1200 and they rocked (sounded very deep).
if your gonna fit 6x9 then dont bother with the 6 inch comps in the front as you wont hear them .
If you want good sound quality and some staging then ditch the 6x9 s for some quality components up front .
Mb Quart are pretty good speakers in my opinion and rock when powered correctly .

Well I wasn't looking at getting a sound system installed, just some speakers to go with my Kenwood head unit, focusing on other things first. Are the Mb's a waste of money without getting an amp??

They would need to be amped up to get the best out of them ,doesnt need to be a big amp either .
I suppose you could run them off the head unit ,just wont sound as dynamic .
The Jbl 6x9s route on the back mdf shelf amped up can also be very satisfying ,if your not after a sq set up .

Im not into heavy metal but my mate owns a ICE shop. He says the same as AZIM for heavy metal.....JBL 6X9's.
