Title: VAG COM = Miles to empty

Hi guys,
          my pal has got the 100% legit vag com for his audi rs4 (lucky bastard!!). he wants to plug in my golf and have a play to gain more experiance in using it. How do you change the dials to show miles to empty!?!?!?  what other things can he play with?? can anyone give me some nice clear instuctions as this is new to us both!?!?!  thanks in advance for your help!!!

p.s.  i have just installed a carbon forced air induction kit, when i put my foot down it sounds fuc*king awsome!!!!  hahaha sounds like its sucking up the whole road  :grin:!!! i love it, will try and get some pics up soon!!

sorry i am a reeetard, but whats the differance?? i know his lead fits my car coz he did a diagnostic scan??????????

The difference is that VAGCom cant read \ write the eprom in the cluster which you ned to do to enable MTE.

How would i no if my golf can have miles to empty and illuminated needles? Difference between immobiliser 3 and immobiliser 2? sorry if this has been asked before.
