right ok, im getting to the point on my golf where im happy with it to an extent, but....... its currently lowered 40mm on springs but
i really want to go a bit lower, 50mm is my idea on springs as my budget at the moment wont push to coilovers, i know the handling will
be reduced but i think it will look amazing, i also have 18" wheels, advice would be great!!
thanx ppl

i have 50mm wietec springs on. With 18s looks mint. Handling better although bit harsher also be careful as the arb catches the drive shaft when u put full right lock on and turn. Like parking n stuff. Apart from that they the dogs bollocks

great have u got a link to the springs u got mate?
-

It's always best to get matched dampers but a lot of people just use lowering springs on standard dampers.
You may need the adjustable drop links for the front ARB as it'll most likely rub on the driveshaft with a 50mm drop but you won't know until you've actually fitted the kit, you may get away with it.
