is this an OEM replacement?
any reasons why i should go and replace mine?
standard gti...
-
Is this for the Standard Gti only, or would it be best to change it on the Ed 30?
Thanks!

If your going to change the valve you might aswell get a Forge one.

beneficial if you have remapped the car, as i believe this is the redesigned one, the first type would always fail as it was made of rubber!

Not convinced the forge is necessary, remapped or not. My DV tore after a reamp but it was the B version. As long as your existing one has a part number ending in G then you should be fine.

is the forge not about £140? Seems the vw part is the way to go.....if it proves to be reliable of course.....

£150 inc VAT if you purchase from Forge.
Mine was obtained for considerably cheaper.
