Hi,
Various temperature sensors for my 16v are bust etc.... the one for the dash guage is intermittant (yellow red wire - have checked wiring) - were would be the best place to get replacements - should I go VW for this or will a Eurocarparts or vwspares one be fine?
Also the oil temperature on my MFA reads too high (I think this is sensor on the back of the head) - running at about 140 up to 150 on the motorway - the water temp on gauge sits at a little above half way (when it's working!).
Also the spade connector for the ECU temp (blue white wire) has also snapped off, so at present the wire is plugged into the temp guage one (yellow red wire) as this had a double spade connector on the wire - however this probably works intemittantly and the car therefore smells a bit rich? Should I replace the sensor with the snapped spade as well or can I just solder the spade part back onto to the existing sensor?
Any help would be brill - finally can you run two wires off one sensor or will this screw up the readings (just as a temporary measure?)

running 2 wires from 1 sensor doesnt work, so this is probably why everything has gone a bit weird. from what I've seen people dont rate the GSF sensors at all, so VW it is! Check the sensor on the rear of the head has a white colar and has a green/black wire to it. The 3 on the side of the head should have a black colar :)

Thanks RJ - will bite the bullet and get one a month!
