right since my dad said do a full respray not just the arches i sanded the whole car down to be told we will spray it ion the summer next year, this was all in october so the baer metal parts i sprayed with primer then tide a car cover to it , sweeeeeeeeeeet
last weekend i took the cover of and it wasnt rusty mint this weekend i got to start it and after the engine being seized and all the brakes being seized it started woo,
but my damper on the day is that it needs a new carb or mine refurbishing/tuning a full respray which my dads seems he can do is it realy worth it im getting sick of it , please can someone say its worth it or something and is there anything i could buy for about £20 that will make my carb any better thanks

I would say take it for a good run with Redex in to clean the carb out, but as it's covered in primer...
Make sure the hot air feed is connected to prevent the carb icing, some say a squirt of WD40 down the carb via the air filter (with air filter removed ofc) helps... I've never tried it.
I usually run some Redex through every couple of months to keep it happy.

its not tax or tested tho as its sitting in the garden as a slow project lol

They can't stop you from running the engine and putting your foot down to give it some revs though
