Title: Heater Fan changing speed constantly like a yo-yo and ideas please??!!

My car has climatronic so I know the fan speed adjusts from time to time but this is NOT normal!  The fan speed goes fast then slow constantly and randomly without the indicated fan speed changing on the climate screen.  I can hear a faint squealing sound coming from passenger footwell which I think is where the fan is located??  Has anybody come across this and what was the problem please!!  Could it be a sensor sending it crazy?  Or is the fan seizing up or loose??!!

Thanks for the lesson in Forum etiquette, you clearly have too much time on your hands Mr Lessani!  I'm still non the wiser regarding the damn fan speed though!!  Oh and yes please don't become a moderator, you're too harsh!  Appreciate any advice regarding fan folks.

i had climate in the car im breaking a guy on ebay bought the control unit as he said his was doing the same as yours but not sure if it cured it as he never got back to me, cheapest option is to try a new control unit there are a few on there but this one has the lowest start price and currently no bids
