Title: hello! got my first gti

hi everyone! bought my first golf gti yesterday. a 1989 mk2  :cool: seems pretty tidy

even insurance isn't too bad bearing in mind I'm 19  :cool:

there are a few things that need sorting on it like the heater, the speedo and rev clock needles are quite wavy but not too much of a problem and the cd player doesn't work great but apart from that it seems pretty sound! I'll be no doubt asking loads of questions anyway though  :grin:

welcome along mate. i didnt wait long for my first gti. Got it at 18 after having a mk2 1.6 for the first year. :smiley:
