Title: question about the plastic cover for wing mirror indicators
Post by: 2007GTI on 25 January 2009, 15:08
my sister has managed to knock the top of her wing mirror off on her Mk5, fortunately it fits back on, but the clear plastic strip at the bottom which you see the indicator through has snapped in half.  does anyone know if you can buy that bit buy on its own?
cheers.

Had one replaced under warranty on previous MK5 when it filled with water, they did not change the whole mirror casing.

Yes you can buy that part on its own.

I'm planning on getting tinted indicators from awesome.

I had this replaced, aswell as the painted wingmirror cover, as someone hit it when parked. The price for the clear part on my invoice was £16, haven't got a part number as it's listed as side repeater lamp assy.

Any idea how much the cover itself was?
