Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
File: /home/jv/public_html/Sources/Subs.php
Line: 2903
Is the error message bain of my existance! I can't make any longish posts on my dub thread without the timeout message.
The resolution is easy, you just need to modify the MySQL config a little, increase the wait_timeout and it should solve the issue.

If you get stuck, I can lend a hand ;)

It's on my 'to-do' list.. had the same issue trying to post my detailing thread. It was never a problem before I increased the max. allowable characters per post :lipsrsealed:
