Title: VDO oil pressure

What 's the best way to wire up the  an after market oil pressure gauge do i need an sender or can i use anything on thats allready on the car managed the battery voltage and oil temp gauges but scratching head when it comes to oil pressure   :smiley:1991 8v cheers

Have a read through these threads. You basically need an audi 180 degree temp sensor, pressure sensor, T piece if you want the mfa to work and some gauges. Best bet is to find an early 90's sporty audi this will have all the bits you need.

Still overly confused about fitting the oil sensor. Half way through those threads my brain switches off :rolleyes:

So i keep the original MFA oil temp sensor (one at the very front of the oil filter housing)
Screw this into the top of the 'T' piece. Now my MFA should read as normal


Then screw in the Audi VDO twin pole sensor to the side of the T piece.

So the twin Audi sensor has the oil pressure and oil temp built into it right?

and thats it?

size is m10 right?
