Title: Golf 5 GTI DSG engine noise

Hi There:

 I have just purchased the DSG GTI 2005 model and wondering if it is normal for the engine to be a bit noisy (sounds like a diesel engine sometimes)?

Check your oil level but yep, they're known for sounding a little "tractory" especially on startup.
