Title: New to the GTI family :)

Hey guys, picked up my first mk2 GTI 8v from a forum member, DaveMarx, on monday, insured it tuesday, and had a great time.......until the cambelt went  :sick: didn't snap, got caught on something, got shredded, and engine cut out. Hopefully it hasn't ripped any valves out in the process, will be finding out tonight.

But anyways, hello all!!  :grin:

Joyous :( it's bent some valves. Hopefully have it sorted by saturday earliest, if not it an't gonna be til next week :( didn't even have it on the road for 6 hours
